Getting started

ClariLens turns your classroom observation notes into professional, framework-aligned reports in minutes, so you spend your time on feedback instead of writing.

Free trial and team plans

ClariLens has two kinds of accounts. A free trial is for one person trying ClariLens on their own. A team subscription is for a whole school.

Walk through your first observation

Seven steps from an empty form to a finished report. Use Next or the arrow keys, and select a screenshot to enlarge it.

  1. Open a new observation

Choose New Observation in the menu. The observation form opens with lesson details on the left and notes on the right.

  2. Fill in the details

Choose the observation type, the date and the teacher. The teacher’s subject and grade are filled in for you; change them if this lesson is different.

  3. Take notes

In Live mode, type a note in the top box and press Enter. ClariLens adds it to your notes with a timestamp. To paste notes from elsewhere, use Write / Paste.

  4. Save and open the report page

Choose Report. ClariLens saves the observation and opens the report page. Use Save instead if you want to finish later.

  5. Check rubrics and options

On the left, confirm which rubrics the report covers, adjust the report options and add any custom instructions.

  6. Generate the report

Choose Generate Report. The report appears as it’s written, usually in under a minute. The arrow next to the button chooses the AI model.

  7. Review, edit and export

Read the report and fix anything that needs it with Edit. Then copy it or export it to PDF or Word. Focus shows recommendations, suggested goals and ratings.
